Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

Welcome once again to a re-done reorganized blog... big changes in store.

Origininally a few years ago I started this blog through a hard time, evolved it into a family blog, and now will reclaim this as primarily my blog.

It is truely my Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

The man I love, and was married to for close to 10 years has again decided to leave us. So with this please deal with me as we transition and find our wings.

Please keep any and all comments nice - as I do not have hard feelings at this time to him - only confusion, frustration and hurt.

Keep reading - this will be great therapy!!

Daddys behind the lense

Daddy loves to play with the camera too and its so nice having 2 sets of eyes try to catch all the antics daya does. Theres no way I could do it all my own.

One day we were playing in the master bedroom and daddy was able to snap these.

Madaya loves to climb in the DOG KENNEL with kaydough or kia whoever is in there... she thinks its so funny to make the dog move to the back while she plays with the door. I personally think they are in cahoots and use this time to plan their attacks against mom and dad.

Here are the photos daddy snapped :

Pig-lets for our roo!

Yeah I am sooooo excited to finally share some news like this.

Our lil roo now has piglets.. I call them piglets cause in no way are they pig tails yet. I love how they look like lil sprouts or antenea's out of her head. She loves having her hair done, and mommy loves to do it.

Enjoy these pics of lil pigleted roo!

A good solution to a not so good problem

Many of you know I have been struggling with the thought of getting rid of ( god I hate that term ) our dogs.

We can only have 2 in our apartment and since mike has kia, we at first were looking for a home for her. You can only imagine how hard this was on him, I and madaya as they are our children too beit they have fur - they are truely our fur babies.

About 2 weeks into our search to no avail - and hiding kia along with kaydough and kaydee in the apartment we got the best solution we could have asked for...

Kaydee has gone to live with Grammy. I am saddened to loose her from my home, but truely she is and has been grammys dog. She adores her. I think this will be helpful to us all and mom seems super happy to have her fur baby too.

Kaydough and Kia are living with us, and suprizingly doing very well together. Its been a rough adjustment but in time it will get smoother!

Cat tales...

.... and alot of cat TAILS

Today Mike and I took Madaya to see " Cat Tales" its a zoo training park here in spokane, that rescues and homes abandonded big cats and bears. We seen lions, tigers, panthers, cheateas and brown bears.
We even got to see the baby tigers be bottle fed. It was alot of fun. You cant get close to them of course, so the pics we got were through the fencing about 10' away from us, but still kinda cool.
Madaya just kept saying Kitty Kitty - shes right - they are cats. The weather was sooo nice, a nice breezy 70 and sunny perfect zoo day!

Heres some from today :

Sunny days.... Chasing the Clouds AWAY!

So it was a very sunny day, Sunday June 15th! You know what else it was? Fathers day! A wonderful day at that!
The morning started out with us waking up to the sound of Madaya yelling " Dadda " " Momm--EE " and then its all more wonderfulness from there. I went into her room, got her out of her crib, and took her to the front room where her and I finished daddies card and gifts up. Daya put her hand print in his card she helped mommy pick out and then wrote inside it - well we will call it " write " but it looked more like cat scratch's! ( see photos )
She then was all too happy to run down the hall towards Daddy who was still in bed holding the envelope out so proudly. She sat on our bed and watched him ever so happily reading his card, as she sat there with her feet crossed and her lil smile on her face I think she truely knew that she was making her daddy soooo happy.
After he read his card she gave him his main gift. I had taken his wedding band and had it re-finished and engraved with a heart and Madaya's name on the inside. I wanted this to be a tradition with each of our children we would/will ever have, so lets start with now huh?! He loved it, and she just smiled away!
After the ring, I handed him the shirt that Madaya picked out herself. It is black with a harley and a eagle on it. That says born to ride hard!
The wonderful wakeup was only the begining to a completely wonderful day.
We all 3 got dressed, headed to breakfast and then to costco for diapers and such.
When we returned home, roo went down for her nap, and mommy and daddy finished some things around the house.
At 1 we headed to Liberty Lake park where we had plans to have a BBQ with daddy's side of the family and thats exactly what we did.
The food was great, the weather was beyond amazing and the company was a delight. It was a good time all around - and 6 hours later on our way home all 3 of us were as tired as tired could be.

Happy Fathers Day Michael and

SUNNY DAYS!!! keep chasing the clouds away!

(((( NOTE : I WILL POST PHOTOS SOON ))))

On the mend?

Mike had his post surgical appointment today. Its been 12 days since his hand surgery... and the news wasnt what we thought it would be.
Mike was in hopes of having the pins pulled ( the 3 external that we knew of ) but no way... Dr. says it needs another 6-8 weeks, and that during that time he will do therapy 2 times a week to help heal it and regain some use of the hand.
Mike said that Dr. wouldnt release him at all to use it for work or work related activities as well, he needs to continue to not bear weight on it and limit its general use.
they made a new 1/2 cast for him that is more custom to his hand, and re-dressed it too. He said it feels much much better.
Time will tell .....
This photo is of the 2 pins ( covered by the yellow junk ) about 3 weeks post surgery.

A heart to Heart...

Many heart to hearts, is all we have had lately, and boy does it feel so good. I wonder how we didnt talk so much before. Anyways We had our first counseling appointment together on Wednesday June 11th ....

It was so wonderful to hear certain things, and I am sure ( or at least hoping ) the same for Mike. Something just need to be said ya know?

I have to say things in general though are exactly how they shoudl be. We are learning to talk with not AT each other, and learning that sometimes we just need to slow down and focus on us first and formost.
Weve really just been enjoying each other.

He did move back in, and even things in that department are wonderful. Its amazing what we have missed of each other :) this is deffinatly the man I married.

Welcome home...

Broken

.... Hand.

And Although I am so thankful its not my hand. It is Mike's hand and I feel horrible for him.
Today he just had surgery to repair it and I couldnt be there - my company wouldnt allow it. I was worried sick the entire time :(
Anyways he has some internal permanate pins, and some external temporary pins, and is in alot of pain. They gave him a pain blocker and hopefully it will buy him enough time to heal. He goes back to the dr. in 10 days...

I will update then.

The sweetest sound

I thought I would share with you all the sweetest sound.
I came walking down the hall from the bedroom to hear daya giggling like crazy... I always delight in that noise in itself but this time theres something more to enjoy - the sound of daddy tickling her and playing right along with her. She absolutely loves when he gets down to play with her and more than the joy in the sounds and giggles is the smile on their faces.
Truely the most sweetest sound! A sound I have been longing to hear!
