Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

Welcome once again to a re-done reorganized blog... big changes in store.

Origininally a few years ago I started this blog through a hard time, evolved it into a family blog, and now will reclaim this as primarily my blog.

It is truely my Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

The man I love, and was married to for close to 10 years has again decided to leave us. So with this please deal with me as we transition and find our wings.

Please keep any and all comments nice - as I do not have hard feelings at this time to him - only confusion, frustration and hurt.

Keep reading - this will be great therapy!!

H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N

Trick or treat, smell my feet,
give me something good to eat!

Today/Tonight was Madayas first Trick Or Treating Halloween. It would have been last year but many will remember that she was in the hospital over Halloween ( for 11 days ) with ecoli and severe urinary infections...
At any rate this year roo wanted to be a fishy.
We werent shocked as she LOVES fishies and she was all too happy to be one! Mommy took her out to Grammy's work to Trick or Treat and then we headed home to get daddy.
Daddy and Mommy took her to Northtown Mall for some store to store candy galore. We stayed about an hour or so until we were beat, and headed home.
Mommy then took her over to see aunt Dee and " TOT" there. We stayed for about 1/2 hour then again back home ...talk about alot of running around.
Once home for the night ( around 7:30 ) we just watched movies, ate dinner and all went to bed!
My oh my I cannot beleive Roo is a lil T.O.T. er now - A fishy this year who knows what next year?!

The cutest fish in the sea!
Its a hard job..

A yummy treat - her first cotton candy - didnt really care for it much

This is much more her style...

a lil TREAT for our lil punkin

Mommy and Daddy gave our lil punkin a treat!

She loves her "tatoes" so we got her the Halloween Trick or Treating edition head, and peices.

This is a great addition to her already extensive collection of heads and peices. Boy she loves them as much as I do. ( Smile ) . What a lil tot!

Yup.. shes mine

Madaya is very artsy. She thinks everything should be a canvas, and me being me dont stop her except the walls and stuff ( which thankfully she really hasnt figured out yet ) .
We bought her a pumpkin ( remember she didnt want to pick one ) and brought it home so she could " arty " it up. Thats her word!!
She decided to paint it and the result was much too cute.
She went exactly to her craft supplies ( YES SHE HAS HER OWN! ) and then picked colors. It was way too cute to sit and watch her paint this peice of arty!
When she was done, we added the peices she picked out of her punkin head set ( kinda like potatoe heads only for pumpkins ) and then away she went. Mommy added hair :)
Enjoy!

A pumpkin ( not so much ) picker

Today Mike and I took Madaya to Seimers farm on Green bluff with the intent of taking her to the pumpkin patch.
This has been our favorite spot to go for pumpkins but this year was different... maybe cause we went so late in the year? Or maybe cause we were all blah, tired.
Who knows, but even roo wasnt about to go for it. We were gonna meet up with Auntie Selina, Uncle Jeff, Morgy, and "toe-e-ah" but we missed them until they were leaving ( uncle jeff wanted to go home ).
We did manage a short tractor ride though, and a caramel apple, then roo wanted to go to another farm to the petting zoo.
We drove down the country road - ABSOULTELY BEAUTIFUL! and then let her play at the next farm.
We asked several times if she wanted to go pick a pumpkin but she had no interest. The only thing she cared about was the darn chickens running around the yard, and the other animals. We did manage to get a couple of pics though - even with her allergies going nuts.
Oh yeah fall and allergies DONT MIX! Perhaps next year she will be more sporty about it? We will try to go earlier too!

I was sooooo impressed with the sun set

This is her idea ( I guess ) of a pumpkin

What she thought of the actual pumpkins....

Somethings very fishy!

Madaya loves her fish and this week theres even more to love.
Her fish had their first batch ( that lived ) of babies on October 18th.
Her marbled sailfin molly gave birth to 13 lil fry! I took some ( or tried to take some ) photos of the tank, and the new additions and thought I would share them with you guys.
I dont think I ever blogged the " poop " story so I will do that too. A couple of weeks ago, Madaya came running down the hall and passed the tank as usual, something caught her eye though and she stopped. She started yelling POOPY MOMMA POOPY! and pointing... I came over only to find our pleco stuck to the side of the glass sucking away as usual. We have had this pleco for about 6 months and she must have just noticed it. It was pretty funny though - so I took a pic of it hanging there.
Its dayas poopy fish! She also things the new babies are " poopies! " I think my kid is gonna have a OCD with cleanliness.

A special visitor

Grandpa and Grandma Pemberton and Uncle Corey came to visit us, and Madaya this weekend. They came from Aberdeen, so as usual there wasnt much time, but we made the most of it.
They brought Madaya her birtday gift, and christmas gifts and a special little suprise!
We got to meet cousin Caden.... He is the first born of Uncle Brandon and this is the first we have ever seen or met him. He loved us, as we did him. Madaya loved having someone her size to play with and I think they enjoyed ripping her room apart :) When we went to breakfast they even held hands!
It was beyond cute.
Caden is almost 3 and exactly madayas size... I thought she was tiny. She loves to meet kids her size, they dont bully her!

Oh yeah and for her birthday they got her a dolly that cries, talks, and moves its face. its kinda cool and creepy, but madaya LOVES it. I dont think its been put down yet. She also got to open her christmas gift and loves it a carebear blankie made by grandma lisa! ... the other gift is waiting till christmas!
It was good to see them again!

Phew... time to breath!

I guess I learned alot this year... see what you would learn!

Saturday Morning was a busy one, as we were awoke by our lil TWO YEAR OLD! We sang happy birthday, and I prepared to head out to get the cake, balloons and get to Chuck E Cheese's to get a table ( we werent paying their crazy prices for a " party " ) .
Daya and Daddy were gonna stay home, go get daddys hair cut, and them pick uncle curt up and meet us at the party at 11.
Meanwhile, Dee and Bree picked me up and we headed out....
We get to safeway at 9:15ish to pick up the cake roo picked, and I had special ordered. I get in there NOTHING was right, it was in chocolate - not white, colored frosting - not airbrushed, and wrong colors. I FLIPPED! She said she could " throw another one together " Oh hell no your not going to THROW one together - Im not paying 40+ for a peice of crap cake... she assured me it would be ok and to come back in 20 minutes! UGH.... so we go get the balloons - two huge beautiful bouqets each with a huge mylar fish cluster about 36x32" wide, the table clothes, napkins, and plates - and head back to safeway.
I get to the bakery again, to find the same issues, other than the cake was white! So....
I FLIPPED! she said the decorater whom I had spent so much time with talking about this cake was out ill, and didnt leave good notes! HELLO IDIOTS ITS A CUSTOM CAKE! so almost in tears, about 40 min from the party I voice my unhappyness get the cake for 15.00 including the cupcakes to go with it for adults ( the cake was a cupcake cake but only serves 30 ). Because the manager is livid now too... so anyways, we rush to Chuck E. Cheese - its about 10:32 when we get in there, and they say " How many in your party? " 30 I answered - the manager came over, and said they didnt have any " party " tables today, cause a woman was there at 10 - but that he could give us 5 booths - fine whatever. We get set up and the fun began....
Each of the kids got to play with the tokens we had given them and then we did pizza, drinks etc. The kids ran off to play a bit more and then we rounded them up for presents and cake. It was a blast, and they all had fun.
Somewhere in the midst of it the manager - while trying to hurry me from the tables - said FYI theres only 2 public party tables on a saturday and if you want to do it again I reccomend doing the party it garuntees a table for an hour... as i giggle to my self i think what person in their right mind wants to spend 10.99 per child so they can have a table. UGH ill take the tables we got, the 80 we spent on food, games etc for everyone and deal thanks!
Madaya was as cute as can be in her lil outfit from gymboree ( via ebay ) and panda shoes, bouncing around, singing, laughing and saying ME TWO!
She was spoiled as usual, and so tired by 2!
It didnt end there...
Our neice, Victoria, was also born 6 years earlier on October 4th ( special because daya made the only other girl in the family and shared a b-day! ) so we had her party right after dayas to go to ...
We went to Selinas house where Daya played with the girls, got to paint a plate and mug , then had a dress up tea party. LOL it was beyond cute.
by 6 roo was spent as was momma! Selina, was nuts enought to have many more hours ahead of her with a slumber party ;) I bow down to her crazyness.
We went home - keeping in mind we had her other cousin, victorianna's party sunday ( she was born on the 6th ) . To go to too!
What a weekend!
Heres some pics from Saturday!

So heres what I learned :
1.) 3 parties in 1 weekend, and 2 on one day is NUTS
2.) It doesnt matter if the cake isnt perfect.. daya still hates cake ( always has )
3.) Inevitably shes growing older :(

Do you think ...

Do you think if I hide my head like an ostrich that daya wont turn 2?
I am sitting here thinking - OMG in 2 days my BABY turns TWO! When and how on earth did this happen?

Shes soooo ready to be two, lord knows she acts like shes 22. She does it all from putting on her shoes, to climbing the walls - litterally!
She knows all, sees all is all!

Weve been singing happy b-day song so she can sing along too... shes got two words down. its " TO YOU "
not a huge surprise given TO, TWO, TOO is her favorite word. She named her kitty ( TOY OF COURSE ) two, her babies come in twos, her dogs are in twos, she has two pacis on hand, she has two shoes, ... the list goes on and she knows it! Its kinda funny really!

so here we are 2 more days...
someone alert father time would you? SLOW DOWN!
