Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

Welcome once again to a re-done reorganized blog... big changes in store.

Origininally a few years ago I started this blog through a hard time, evolved it into a family blog, and now will reclaim this as primarily my blog.

It is truely my Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

The man I love, and was married to for close to 10 years has again decided to leave us. So with this please deal with me as we transition and find our wings.

Please keep any and all comments nice - as I do not have hard feelings at this time to him - only confusion, frustration and hurt.

Keep reading - this will be great therapy!!

Getting closer

Having just blogged yesterday about Madayas attitude I got to thinking I hadnt updated about her Birthday plans yet.
So ... here it is.

Her party will be Saturday the 4th, of October at 11:00. We chose to do it at Chuck E. Cheese again, since it made it so easy on us. Daddy and I agreed to do the pizza, tokens and fun in place of having a mess, a stress, and a house full!
It will be fun.
Shes having a fish themed party. I made the invites, and thank you's. Those are all done and sent. Weve gotten all the goody bag stuff, tokens and coupons we need for the party and now just waiting for the day.
She will have 2 huge fish balloons, and some lil balloons too. Her cake is a ocean scene that Daddy and Her picked out.
She will love it.

Hope to see you there as daya turns 2!

Oh shes trying...

Shes trying alright.

My patience that is.

Seriously where did this IM TWO attitude come from. Madaya doesnt turn 2 for another couple of weeks but it seems as though the terrible two's are here.

Jesh -

lets recap :

She think she can do everything on her own. Even if its something like COOK DINNER. She doesnt want YOU to cook it, oh no she wants to do it. She must be on the counter and a part of each and every step. So much for quick fix.

She thinks its totally ok to use walls as her private art studio!

She tells us AFTER she went potty, that she needs to go potty. Her potty chair is a beautiful peice of art in the bathroom apparently not intended for use?

She says NO to everything. Daya are you happy? NO. Daya do you love mommy and daddy... NO. Do you know how to say anything else? Uhmm.... NO!

What a silly! Shes so trying.

Into everything or in her case ON TO everything and just all over.

She thinks time out is a game now, and bends over so we can spank her. We dont spank often but apparently this is her choice.

On top of this shes teething ( still has 5 to go ) and is mid growth spurt I beleive. God, I cannot beleive I just said that. Madaya and GROWTH dont happen in the same sentence usually?

and her newest thing... challanging bed time and nap time. Apparently shes on sleep strike.

Can someone wake me when she turns 3!

If we all had

If we all had to proudly display our " ribbons " which would you be displaying?

I post this post, because its all too often I hear people ask " Why do you care so much about yout causes " HELLO!!! BECAUSE IT AFFECTS ME AND MY LOVED ONES!

Today while with my sister in law, who recently just found out she had a form of cancer ( long story short it was in the ovary, and is all caught ) she said something and it does hit home.

TOO MANY PEOPLE DONT GET CHECKED UNTILL IT HAPPENS TO SOMEONE THEY KNOW/LOVE!

I dont want my family, friends, and aquintances to be a number. I want them to have a voice, a face a reason.

In todays medical age theres so much knowledge, and available help to those of us who have health issues, be it small or large.

It doesnt even need to be health.. what about what we beleive in? Freedom? Fairness? Compassion?

It all MATTERS!

So...

What color ribbon will you be displaying?!

Heres my ribbon collection

Remember September is OVARIAN CANCER and PCOS awareness month!
That pic should sum it up!

We cut it to help battle the cradle cap ( thanks allergies, and excema ) and to even it out. Her hair is so fine, and thin there really wasnt alot to cut. Hope it grows soon!

Trouble in the making..

I really think they plan trouble together - but boy do they love one another!

Her color? Early Halloween? Just Nuts?

I am trying to decide what the heck is/was going through Madaya's mind today.

She got into my lipgloss while I was vacuuming and well, I will let these photo's do the talking :)

I know shame shame... but I couldnt resist grabbing the camera!

* Side note shes 23 months and this week she has :

Colored on the wall with crayon

Got into mommys make up

Discovered how to pour water from the dog dish into her play kitchen sink

climb INTO her crib

and say...... THANK YOU constantly :)

The end...

Of summer that is.

We left Friday August 29th for Williams Lake and stayed until Monday September 1st. We had a very nice weekend celebrating summer's end, Labor Day and Mike's Birthday.

Friday and Saturday it was just us 3, which made it very nice, relaxing and for good time together. We went fishing, played around the park and just relaxed. The resort played movies on the big screen theatre and night and roo enjoyed that alot and allowed us some good family time too! Daddy loved the fishing, and even found the " spot " I think in all by the end of the weekend more than 50 fish were caught! He was loving it!

Sunday Ann, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Kandis, Ryan, Nathan, Vicky, Selina, Morgan, Victoria, Ryan and Olga came out to celebrate Mike's Birtday with a BBQ. It was a great afternoon, and we didnt want anyone to leave, but they all had to!

Maybe next year everyone can make it out - we missed those of you who couldnt!

Sunday night we lost beloved PACI! That made for a not so great night. Daya was a mess, it was cold and we were so tired!

Monday Morning we got up with roo ( about 5am! ) and started loading the van. We had to be home so mike could go to work.

Its sad to see summer go, and most certainly the weather is reminding us its gone, and fall is close. But it was great to have one last camp out. Weve had alot of fun this summer, and now can focus on what we need for next season to be better!!

I have posted some pics below :

Daya found her first Frog. Shes heard of them, but not really experianced them too close - it didnt go to well. I did get her to hold it ONCE and other than that she was ok from a distance :)

Victoria and Morgan had fun fishing - and caught some nice trout! They were so proud of themselves!

Morgan is a wild frog hunter, with the help of victoria they found 6!

Hosta LaVista Summer....

This pretty much sum's her up!

Morgan and Toria had a blast catching these.... Touching them on the other hand .....

Daya and the frog..
