Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

Welcome once again to a re-done reorganized blog... big changes in store.

Origininally a few years ago I started this blog through a hard time, evolved it into a family blog, and now will reclaim this as primarily my blog.

It is truely my Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

The man I love, and was married to for close to 10 years has again decided to leave us. So with this please deal with me as we transition and find our wings.

Please keep any and all comments nice - as I do not have hard feelings at this time to him - only confusion, frustration and hurt.

Keep reading - this will be great therapy!!

playing with the HAND hes been dealt

... Mike had a Indipendant Exam for his Right hand ( the L&I ) claim about 4 weeks ago, as planned by the department L&I. During this exam Mike told the Dr. that his hand was still very sore, and didnt have much of the feeling it used to. This has been Mikes complaint since the original surgery! Well - the IME Dr refeffered Mike to the Nuerologist and we went home waiting to hear from L&I. Skip forward to yesterday we get a call at 10 am asking if he can be at the nuerologist by 4pm - to which he said yes.

We get to the Neuro office and he goes to see the Dr, only to come out 30 minutes later looking oh so sad..

The Neuro said his hand is deffinatly not right, and that the nerves arent hearing/sending anything they should be. That use of it is very limited at best, and will most likely keep deteriorating with out surgery to try to repair the nerves. Surgery in itself is risky and can leave the hand useless. The Dr said without the surgery however, it will most likely get to that point any how.
so, were waiting again for L&I to make the next move but for now theres no settlement ( were still pending ) and mike will be off work approx 6 months is the guess if he has to try to repair the nerves.

Were very unsure as to what this means, and esp since we dont know yet how much or when $$ will come from L&I.

He keeps on playing with the hand hes been delt, but praying for a better one soon!
