so does most of our city! We say WE LOVE it!!
The entire city of Spokane and Spokane Valley is literally shut down today - except emergency crews ( which are at a minimum, and plows ) thanks to a huge snow storm that began December 17th, Yesterday.
We got about 22" so far ... its been a little more than 24 hours. I cant recall a snow fall like this in many years, I was about 5-6 when I made snow forts :) They say its falling at a rate of 1" per hour now and theres more coming through the weekend off and on - wow!
They are begging people to stay in, or go out and help shovel - DONT DRIVE. Theres many businesses closed, including malls and doctors offices even. Just not good news.
Its kind of funny to hear everyone complain about it cause it doesnt faze me at all - infact the only thing it fazed is they shut the hospital down to all but emergencies so ...
I CANT have my 101 with the surgeon for my WLS today :( ( and it may be up to 4 weeks before they can get me in again - sigh ) .
We took madaya out today to see what she thought. Keep in mind shes 31" tall. It made for a fun time. Heres our pics...
