Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

Welcome once again to a re-done reorganized blog... big changes in store.

Origininally a few years ago I started this blog through a hard time, evolved it into a family blog, and now will reclaim this as primarily my blog.

It is truely my Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

The man I love, and was married to for close to 10 years has again decided to leave us. So with this please deal with me as we transition and find our wings.

Please keep any and all comments nice - as I do not have hard feelings at this time to him - only confusion, frustration and hurt.

Keep reading - this will be great therapy!!

Oh when the saints...

Come marching HOME, oh when the saints come marching HOME....

For all intents Grandma and Grandpa for this song's purposes shall be called the saints! :).

I havent posted about this because I guess a part of me feels its much too good to be true. But I think Ill go ahead.
Its with bittersweetness that Grandma and Grandpa have decided to come home. By home I mean here, Spokane, and off of the road to which they have called " home " for over 20 years. Its been a good run for them, but now they are tired, aging and I think just missing the life they leave for 6+ months out of the year.
Ive always said I wanted to have them around. Not just for me, but for their girls, their grand children, and now their great grandkids.
I never wanted to have to tell madaya we would go see great nana and papa in a home, or that we cant see them when they need us because they are too far. I want her to know them, love them and grow with them. I never had that... Mike never had that. Madaya should. And could.. and now WILL!
Grandma and Grandpa have decided they will come off the road for good. Selling their motorhome and settling back into a normal life.
A life I am sure may not come easy and as I said will be bittersweet. The dream they had was to travel, and that is what they have done. I hope they can build new dreams now and settle soon into the life I know could be waiting.
I think the time is right.
They will be moving into the community that we moved to! In fact- only 3 blocks away :). This is such a blessing. It will allow us to care for them from afar but not too far. It will give them privacy and the comfort of their own place. No apartment and no worries. There's enough family and friends to help see that they are cared for without making it seem like they NEED care. Know what I mean?!
" They aren't old and ready to die you know " So I have heard!
I think a cool thing is they will be laterally right next door to Ellen, Who has become a good friend of my moms. They will be sharing the duplex with her. Best of both worlds each will " know " their neighbors!
The price is right, the style what they need and finally the pieces come together!

We will welcome them " Home " around the 1st of June... and then should be settling them into their new HOME around the first of August. We are anticipating August 8th.

Welcome home Nana and Papa. Your arrival has been long awaited.
We all love you, support you and wish you the very best in this new chapter of your life!
