Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

Welcome once again to a re-done reorganized blog... big changes in store.

Origininally a few years ago I started this blog through a hard time, evolved it into a family blog, and now will reclaim this as primarily my blog.

It is truely my Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

The man I love, and was married to for close to 10 years has again decided to leave us. So with this please deal with me as we transition and find our wings.

Please keep any and all comments nice - as I do not have hard feelings at this time to him - only confusion, frustration and hurt.

Keep reading - this will be great therapy!!

Weekend getaway

Michael, Madaya and Myself have been planning on going to the west side of the state for some time now for my sister, Shannons wedding. When we planned this we kinda thought we would wrap some other things into the same trip to save time and money. So thats exacty what we did. We had our neice Victoria go with us, for a lil get away too since her brother had just been to camp. It was a good time had by all ...
Friday August 1st we headed to that side, where we ended up stopping in Renton Washington for a good nights sleep. We stayed at the hilton garden in ( If your wanting a great price for a ohhh so luxurious room its your place ) and then got up saturday to head to the ferry. My sister lives on anderson island so its a bit of a trek. We caught the ferry, got to the island and preceeded with the wedding. Madaya was the flower girl and for never seeing any of these people or things she did fabulous. Not to mention she was so tired, no nap and hungry to boot. After the wedding we went to the beach to play around, and take some photos of the wedding party ( no i will not be posting those wedding photos here for privacy reasons ). After that we caught the 8pm ferry and headed to Tacoma to stay/see our friends shanna and scott and their kiddos. We got there around 9:30 settled in and had a good night. The next day we got up and headed to Meet Grandpa and Grandma Pemberton for lunch - we met at famous daves. SOOO yummy. Seriously good BBQ food. We visited with them for about 2 hours - they had come from Aberdeen and had errands to run and we were headed to the point defiance zoo and aquarium.
We had fun roaming the zoo for a few hours, and then the kiddos were getting tired. ME Too!! so we headed back to shanna and scotts and had a BBQ and a game of Bocce ball then headed to bed.
Monday we got up and headed to see mikes friend Dave, who has a farm and we played there for a couple of hours too.
The girls loved meeting all the animals - the horses, cows, goats, donkey and running around the fields.
We had to head home though so we only stayed 3 hours.
We took whites pass home, and the trip went relativly well... toria got car sick? ( unsure if it was that or a virus ) but was sick along the way that was windy roads.. once we made it to the free way she was fine, and we proceeded home just fine.
The car did act weird atop whites pass - it lost power like a fuel pump issue, but once we pulled over and sat and re-started it never happened again?! Maybe bad gas?

At anyrate it was soooo nice to get away and we totally enjoyed ourselves.
here are some of our favorite photos from the weekend!

Enjoy!!
